Snow Bros. 2 - With New Elves is an arcade platform
game developed in 1993 by Toaplan and released by Hanafram the following year. Is the sequel to the popular Snow Bros.
In Japan the game is known as Otenki Paradise - Snow Bros. 2.
The game takes place in six different locations(stage). The stage 1, 2, 4 and 5 are composed of 5 levels fixed screen which must be added an additional layer to the boss. To complete a level you must remove all the monsters that infest it usingspecific weapons each character has:
Nick the snow kid Traps enemies in snowballs;
Bobby the thunder kid Traps enemies in a cloud electricity;
Roy the rain kid cages enemies in a bubble of water;
Richard the wind kid uses whirlwinds of air;
Once trapped, the enemies are eliminated pushing them along the shelves which make up the level to break them against the walls. Any other monster that is affected by these loose items turns into a Japanese dish or sometimes drink in a different color that add further potential to the elves:
red drink: increases the speed of the character;
yellow drinks: Increases the range of the weapon;
drink Blue: Increases the power of the weapon, allowing you to detain the enemy in less time;
The appearance of a yellow cup allows the elf to inflate like a balloon and float around the screen, eliminating opponents on contact.
If you lose too much time in the same level, the sun appears invulnerable to chase the elf to make him lose his life.
The stages 3 and 6 are composed of a single large screen that slides vertically. In the game, these environments are represented by towers. To overcome these stages do not need to remove barriers, but suffice it to get to the top of the tower, and only in the case of stage 6, defeat the final boss.
